JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, ambulating, transferring, and toileting
  • Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, and promptly report any irregularities to the supervising nurse
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort by maintaining a clean and organized environment, proper positioning, and utilizing appropriate techniques for lifting, transferring, and supporting patients
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the provision of care.

    Qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a current valid Arizona Certified Nursing Assistant License
  • Possess a current valid Arizona Driver's license
  • Have reliable personal transportation
  • Have a current CPR Certification
  • Have a TB clearance health card that meets federal/state requirements or ability to obtain.
  • Be a US citizen or have proof of ability to work legally in the United States
  • Ability to successfully pass background checks
  • Bilingual and/or conversational Spanish language ability is a plus!

Education

  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Successful completion of college/training required for Arizona CNA license
