JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, ambulating, transferring, and toileting
- Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, and promptly report any irregularities to the supervising nurse
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by maintaining a clean and organized environment, proper positioning, and utilizing appropriate techniques for lifting, transferring, and supporting patients
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the provision of care.
Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a current valid Arizona Certified Nursing Assistant License
- Possess a current valid Arizona Driver's license
- Have reliable personal transportation
- Have a current CPR Certification
- Have a TB clearance health card that meets federal/state requirements or ability to obtain.
- Be a US citizen or have proof of ability to work legally in the United States
- Ability to successfully pass background checks
- Bilingual and/or conversational Spanish language ability is a plus!
Education
- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Successful completion of college/training required for Arizona CNA license
